DON BOSCO VAZHIKAATTI JOB FAIR 2026 | Commemorating 150 Years of Salesian Cooperators

Don Bosco Vazhikaatti successfully organized Job Fair 2026 at St. Mary’s Anglo-Indian Hr. Sec. School, St. Mary’s Co-Cathedral, George Town, Chennai, in commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators. The Job Fair brought together employers and aspiring job seekers, creating a platform for meaningful employment opportunities, career growth, and inclusive participation.

The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Rev. Fr. Maria Louis SDB, INM Provincial Delegate – The Association of Salesian Cooperators, as the Chief Guest, along with Rev. Fr. Rajan Pushpam SDB, Rector & Parish Priest – St. Mary’s Co-Cathedral, George Town; Rev. Fr. Stanislaus Swamikannu SDB, Rector & Parish Priest – Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, Perambur; Rev. Fr. Gabriel SDB, National Director – Don Bosco Job Placement Network, PAN India; and Mr. Vimalan, Province Coordinator – The Association of Salesian Cooperators (INM), as Guests of Honour.

The Job Fair witnessed an encouraging response from job seekers, with 153 candidates selected and 25 candidates shortlisted for employment opportunities. The event also saw the active participation of 20 Persons with Disabilities (PWD), reinforcing the commitment towards inclusive employment and equal career opportunities for all.

Through this initiative, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti continues its mission of empowering youth, connecting talents with employers, breaking barriers, and creating pathways towards sustainable careers. The successful participation of job seekers, employers, guests, and PWD candidates made the occasion a meaningful celebration of 150 Years of Salesian Cooperators and their spirit of service, inclusion, and empowerment.
