Don Bosco Vazhikaatti (DBV), in collaboration with the Job Placement Network (JPN), organized a Mega Job Drive for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in Chennai. The event aimed to promote inclusive employment and provide dignified livelihood opportunities for differently abled youth.

The programme was graced by Ms. S. Madhumathi, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department, as the Chief Guest. Rtn. D. Suresh Jain, District Governor, Rotary International (2026–27), participated as the Guest of Honour. The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Joe Anand SDB, Director, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti.

Rev. Fr. Francis Sundarraj SDB, Rector, St. Francis Xavier Church, Broadway, extended his support and encouragement. The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. John Alex, Head – CSR, Equitas Small Finance Bank. Mr. R. Anil Kumar, Placement Manager, Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, joined as the Special Guest. Rev. Fr. Gabriel, representing the Job Placement Network (JPN), highlighted the importance of sustained placement support for PwDs. Several Rotary Clubs of Chennai partnered actively in organizing the mega event.

Leading employers and CSR partners provided placement opportunities across multiple sectors. The job drive enabled direct interaction between candidates and recruiters. Participants expressed renewed confidence and hope for meaningful employment. The event reflected DBV’s strong commitment to inclusion, dignity, and empowerment. DBV and JPN continue to work together to build an inclusive and opportunity-driven future for all.
