Tech Mahindra Foundation SMART program is the CSR project of Tech Mahindra Limited. The vision of Tech Mahindra Limited is “Empowerment through Education.” Through its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Mahindra Group commits itself to this.
The key focus areas for Corporate Social Responsibility at Tech Mahindra Foundation are:
- Empowerment of girls/women
- Empowerment of people with disabilities
- Corporate volunteering
At present, the Tech Mahindra Foundation runs a total of 14 projects in Chennai under its employability and education programs. DBV-TMF Centers is one among them. Don Bosco Vazhikaatti and Tech Mahindra Foundation had partnered from 2013 onwards. We have trained more than 5000+ candidates and placed 3500+ candidates. We aim to provide employability skills training to youth from economically weaker sections of the urban community. The skill training is offered to the beneficiaries through a well-structured training program to ensure that after the completion of the training they are placed in suitable and dignified jobs. The SMART program places great emphasis on foundational skills for a job such as Spoken English, Basic IT and Workplace Readiness. DBV-TMF Centers offer domain specific training like Finance & Accounting Course – Tally Prime, Tally – Advanced, GST Returns, Banking, Financial Service & Insurance, Data Quality Analyst, Employability Training at Broadway, Perambur and Annai Violet College, Ambattur.
